Ryan & Candice {E-shoot}

Toadbury Hall 'For your heart is mine, and my heart is yours. Wherever you go, I go, for you are my home.' Candice and Ryan had so many ideas for their engagement shoot that I think Pinterest would've been jealous!  But what a treat to meet a couple that are not only full of ideas, but also full of love for one another so that it spills over and is visible in every photo.  Thanks so much for asking me to be part of this special time in your life, enjoy it!

Steven & Jenna {E-shoot}

“Only once in your life, I truly believe, you find someone who can completely turn your world around. You tell them things that you’ve never shared with another soul and they absorb everything you say and actually want to hear more. You share hopes for the future, dreams that will never come true, goals that were never achieved and the many disappointments life has thrown at you. When something wonderful happens, you can’t wait to tell them about it, knowing they will share in your excitement. They are not embarrassed to cry with you when you are hurting or laugh with you when you make a fool of yourself. Never do they hurt your feelings or make you feel like you are not good enough, but rather they build you up and show you the things about yourself that make you special and even beautifu[...]

Deon & Linsay {Eshoot}

Deon & Linsay invited me to their home to do their engagement shoot, with the added bonus of a park just down the road. Mix in Linsay's awesome photo ideas and I was one happy photographer!  We managed to wrap the shoot up just before the rain came down, and I loved the fact that they included the whole family - check out the sign Linsay had made for their dogs, super cute!

Gary & Mia {E-shoot}

After a lot of rainy months, I finally managed to do Gary and Mia's engagement shoot, and was treated with beautiful afternoon light, making the wait worth the while. I have to mention that I had to reschedule the shoot 5 times (thanks guys for being so patient) and that I am really relieved that we got to do the shoot, and even more relieved when I saw the end results.  Every time my little girl walks past my computer and see what I'm busy editing, her reaction is always the same: Look mama, it's the mermaid Arial!  Mia is one of those people that pull of the red hair beautifully, and I begged her to keep it like that for the wedding, which she happily agreed to (YES!).  I can't wait for their big day!

Pieter & Chantell {E-shoot}

I met Pieter and Chantell at their home for their engagement shoot a few days before their big day, and I was so super excited when I saw the area that they had in mind to do the shoot at!  I fell in love with their place, so rustic and beautifully simplistic.  They opted for a whimsical picnic shoot with a bit of vintage tossed in between, and I couldn't agree more that this suited them perfectly.  I loved the energy between them, they radiated a strong bond of love and it came across in every photograph.  We literally managed to finish the shoot before the heavens opened up, very lucky! Hope you enjoy their photos!
