Terence & Christelle {Wedding}

Lezar Opstal “I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you simply, without problems or pride: I love you in this way because I do not know any other way of loving but this, in which there is no I or you, so intimate that your hand upon my chest is my hand, so intimate that when I fall asleep your eyes close.” - Pablo Neruda - I met this wonderful couple and knew that their wedding was going to be a beautiful affair...  From the decor to Christelle's bold red lips, everything was in it's place and created an atmosphere that made this a night not to forget.  We were blessed with a beautiful sunset that gave a warm glow to our couple shoot photos, and Terence and Christelle brought the love which ensured that we got some great photos.  All in all a wonderful day cel[...]

Daniel & Phillipa {Wedding}

The Stone Cellar “Every heart sings a song, incomplete, until another heart whispers back. Those who wish to sing always find a song. At the touch of a lover, everyone becomes a poet.” – Plato – I am very fortunate to see beautiful brides come and go, but Phillipa (a.k.a Pippa as her friends know her) wasn't just beautiful, she was exquisite!  With every eye in the room tearing up, Dan and Pippa made their promise to each other in an old cow parlour and walked out as husband and wife to begin their new life.  What a joyous occasion it was, what a stunning couple they make, and what a celebration took place!  Ps, keep your eyes out for the awesome first dance, these two are legends! Guys, on a more personal note, thanks so much for entrusting me to capture your day, and for inviting me [...]

Drian & Lené {Wedding}

Isiphiwo '11 He who finds a wife, finds what is good and receives favor from the LORD."  — Proverbs 18:22 Drian and Lené are two beautiful souls who enveloped us all in their love for one another, and what a joy to behold true love!  Drian's best men were a laugh a minute, and I love the energy that they bring to every photo.  Lené has this way of making people feel welcome and appreciated from the word go, and I couldn't have asked for a more lovely bride to photograph!  The rain that we had during their couple shoot didn't even get to this couple, and they managed laugh and have fun through it all.  Now that ladies and gentleman, is the sign of everlasting love!  May you guys always manage to laugh through the storms in life and remember that above all, to love one another. [...]

Shaun & Alicia {Wedding}

Zakopane '11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."  — Jeremiah 29:11 I've known Alicia for practically my whole life, our parents are friends and we basically grew up together.  So it truly was such a delight that I got to photograph her and Shaun on their wedding day, and this wedding was definitely a highlight for me!  From the decor (in true farm style), to the spirit-led ceremony and the beautiful couple session where we were spoilt with a beautiful sunset, this really was the stuff dreams are made of (at least photographers' dreams!). Service Providors: Flowers: Creative Flowers by Lu Second Shooter: my gorgeous husband, JP, thanks for everything! You are aweso[...]

Cobus & Chanel {Wedding}

Makojalo "The best and most beautiful things in this world cannot be seen or even heard, but must be felt with the heart." — Helen Keller  I first saw the true beauty of the love between Cobus and Chanel during their engagement shoot last year, and I knew that their wedding day was going to be something out of the books...  And they didn't disappoint.  It was a feast for the eyes, featuring beautiful colours and playful elements that together made for a truly spectacular sight.  Not only was the decor exquisite, but the venue itself was a true gem with so many photo opportunities, so I was in photographer's heaven! I want to thank you guys for making me a part of your special day - what a privilege it was to witness your love for one another.  I also want to thank my fantastic second s[...]

Deejee & Keely {Wedding}

Memoire Deejee and Keely's wedding marked the beginning of the new wedding season, and we couldn't have asked for a better start!  As we arrived at Memoire, we were greeted with stunning decor filled with sorts of details - a real photographer's heaven!  Keely had lots of ideas for the photos, and was a natural when it came to posing in front of the camera, making my job a breeze.  I loved that she thought of every small detail and made sure that everything was looking beautiful.  Deejee was a gentleman and treated Keely like a princess, making them a lovely pair to have in front of my camera. They were so natural and in love that it was impossible not to get great photos from their couple shoot! The day was jam packed and the guests were entertained until late at night; I'm pretty sur[...]

Quintin & Milaine {Wedding}

Die Klipskuur We arrived at Die Klipskuur on a rather overcast Saturday, ready to photograph Quintin and Milaine's beautiful wedding, and was amazed at the amount of detail and the beauty that was put into their wedding!  The staff at Die Klipskuur were amazing and extremely helpful and we soon felt right at home.  After photographing the beautiful decor, we drove through to where Quintin was getting ready, and there we were surprised with the amazing set up that Milaine did of Quintin's items (see the photos of the wooden boxes and all the little items; Milaine left them already set up for us just to come in to photograph!).  From there we went through to Milaine, who was still busy getting ready...  I'm not surprised at all after I saw all the effort that she put into everything, that n[...]

Paul & Sinead {Wedding}

Avianto I first met up with Paul & Sinead during their engagement shoot (in case you missed it, here it is), and I was thoroughly warned that a big party awaits us... I was not disappointed!  But before I get to the party, let's start with how beautiful everything looked; from the decor that had wisps of pink and ivory combined with silver and black, to Sinead in her ivory dress.  Everything was in it's place, except when I walked into the bridal suite... There I found a flurry of girls in varying stages of getting ready, and Sinead sitting amidst it all, looking calm and in control, busy getting her hair done. While I spent some time with Sinead, my second shooter (a.k.a my husband Jay) was busy having fun with the groom and his best men, and we met up again at the ceremony.  Even[...]
